Spooky Friday: BOO!!

Hi everyone! I can't believe this will be my last Halloween post! I just love Halloween and I have had such a great time making all of these spooky projects! For this card I used the Stampin' Up Spider Web embossing folder and then I sponged it with black ink. The ribbon is Basic Grey and the Spider is from My Mind's Eye. I cut the "Boo" on my cricut using Paper Pups (I used the shadow feature and it is cut at 2"). The word was originally welded together but I didn't like how it looked so I cut it apart and used dimensionals to adhere it down. Card stock is Basic Black, Whisper White, and Peach Parfait. This picture shows a close up of the Spider Web embossing folder. This is such a fun folder to use.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderfully wicked HALLOWEEN!

Grateful: Day of Gratitude

It is Wednesday and time for a Thanksgiving project.  I just love the new stamp set called Day of Gratitude.  The leaf stamp is from this stamp set and I stamped it in Old Olive.  The sentiment is from the discontinued set called Warm Words.  Even though this set is retired I use it ALL the time! :)  The paper on the bottom of the card is from the BEAUTIFUL Autumn Spice Designer Series Paper that is in the Holiday Mini.  I have bought several packs of this and LOVE it! The paper on the top is Crumb Cake and I embossed it with the Perfect Details embossing plate then sponged it with Early Espresso.  The strip of paper down the middle is some wall paper.  I have a book of wall paper that has some really nice designs in earth tones that I use a lot.  It is thick and really textured.  The buttons are Cajun Craze (with linen thread tied in them) and so is the paper that the leaf is on.  I also used it for the sentiment.  The leaf is stamped on Very Vanilla.  I used the oval punch and the scalloped oval punch for the sentiment.  Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and I hope you are having a Wonderful Wednesday!!

Merry Monday: Dasher

Hello everyone!  I hope you all enjoyed the weekend.  We had some really  nice weather and were able to spend some time outside and just relax.  It is time for another Merry Monday card and this week I used the Dasher stamp.  I stamped him with white craft ink and used white embossing powder.  I really like this stamp and you will probably see him again next week! :)  After I embossed the background I sponged it with Early Espresso.  All supplies are Stampin' Up!

  • Card stock:  Crumb cake, Early Espresso, Always Artichoke, Whisper White
  • EDITED TO ADD: I did not use the big shot and top note die on this.  I used my cricut and storybook cartridge.

  • Scallop Oval Punch
  • Perfect Details embossing plate
  • Ink:  White Craft Ink, Early Espresso
  • Dasher Stamp Set
  • 5/8" Grosgrain ribbon in Early Espresso.

Spooky Friday! Dracula the Cutie!

Hi everyone!  I hope your Friday has been great!  I am hoping to get a lot of crafting done this weekend between football games! :)  The little Dracula that I used is a chipboard piece from My Mind's Eye.  I punched a hole in the card so Dracula is actually on the inside.  I just love doing Halloween projects. I can't believe I only have a short time to complete some more before Halloween actually arrives.

  • Card stock:  Peach parfait, Basic Black
  • Designer Series Paper in Wicked Fun
  • Lace Trim
  • Scallop Punch
Thank you so much for stopping by today!  Have a super weekend!

Merry Monday #1 Dasher Card

Happy Monday!  I am really excited about this post because it is a first in a series of posts that I will do each Monday until Christmas.  The posts will be called Merry Monday and I will post a different Christmas craft each week.  This week's post is an elegant Christmas card using the Dasher stamp from Stampin' Up! I just love this stamp and I know you will be seeing more of him during my Merry Monday posts.  I embossed him with craft ink and added a little dazzling diamonds to his antlers (hard to see in pic).  I really love this ribbon, it makes the most beautiful bows and adds the elegant touch to this card.  I hope you like it and I really appreciate you stopping by!!
