Crafty Thursday Card Series

Hi everyone!  I have officially started my Crafty Thursday Card Series Videos(it took me forever to get started)!  I am so excited to be working on these.  I have posted 2 and I will post my third this Thursday.  For the first video I made a cute and simple "guy" card. (Those are the hardest for me to do!!!) :) Here is the video:

The second video in the series is this tree birthday card (or it can be used for all occasion).

Thank you for stopping by and I hope that you like this new series that I am doing.  If you have any techniques, stamp sets, or cartridges that you would like me to use just let me know.  I am going to try to do at least one "guy" card a month.  That is how I am challenging myself! LOL!
Thanks again for everything!  Also since I am up to 169 FOLLOWERS, which is awesome, it is time for a blog candy drawing this weekend.  Woo hoo!
Take care,
Wendy

Me and Daddy are Dino*Mite!

Happy Saturday everyone!!  This is another installment to my cousin's baby book.  I always do a dad and a mom page.  This one is the dad page and I used create a critter (LOVE that cart) and I used Stampin' Up!'s scallop edge border punch.  The paper is My Mind's Eye (pattered plaid paper).  The orange cardstock is Pumpkin Pie from Stampin' Up!.  The dinosaur paper is something I found at Hobby Lobby.  Ribbon is also from Stampin' Up!  Using this cartridge makes me want to keep making things for little kids.  The cuts are just too cute!  Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Love You a Latte

Hi everyone!  I want to take a minute to thank all of my wonderful followers and I am so excited that you are following me.  I am also visiting your blogs and becoming a follower as well so we can all share our love of crafting.  Thank you to all who take a moment to leave me a comment.  It means a lot to me! :)

Okay now onto my page.  I am slowly but surely still trying to post pictures from the baby album that I did for my cousin.  I really liked using "Just Because" Cards for this baby book.  That cartridge has really cute sayings and cute cuts.  Most of designer paper for this page is DCWV and the solids are Stampin' Up!  Thanks for looking and I hope you all are well.  Thanks again for following me and visiting my blog! Hugs to you all!!

More Spooky Fun

Hello everyone!  I am having a lot of fun making these Spooky Halloween projects.  I used the new Spider Web embossing folder from Stampin' Up! to emboss the background of my card.  And I used the candy wrapper die to make the "Spooky" little box (I posted the cute little ghost box a couple posts ago).  For the Spooky Box I used Basic Black, Peach Parfait, Old Olive and Whisper White card stock.  The sentiment is from Wicked Cool and the ribbon is Rich Razzleberry.  The card also used Whisper White and Basic Black cardstock.  The scallop oval punch was used on Old Olive for the sentiment (sentiment is from a retired set).  The ribbon is Peach Parfait.  The two little skulls are from My Minds Eye.  Thanks so much for looking and have a great weekend!

Back to School (Last time, I promise! LOL)

Okay so I had to make something to go with the apple that I posted awhile back.  I know I have been talking a lot about school!  We had our teacher work day on Friday and the kids come Tuesday so I am excited!!  I am sad summer is over and my crafting time will significantly decrease but it will be nice to meet my new students!  So anyway, I got the Bigz Mini Milk Carton Die for my Big Shot from Stampin' Up! and decided to try to make a crayon box.  I just cut off the top part of the milk carton and then folded it up.  It actually holds a whole box of 24 crayons nicely.  I embossed it with Perfect Polka Dots.  The card stock is Cherry Cobbler and the ribbon is from Basic Grey.  Thanks for stopping in and Happy New School Year to everyone!

A Ghostly Halloween!

Hello everyone!  First I have to apologize because I have not posted since last Thursday.  Getting my classroom ready for the start of the year has taken a VERY long time.  We moved into a new school this year so I had to unpack and I decided to do an owl theme so I spent many HOURS making things to go with my theme.  I will post pictures of my classroom soon.  I was so excited to make this little project today because I got to use the new Candy Wrapper Die that is in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog!!  Isn't this just a fun little project? I used Old Olive card stock, Peach Parfait ribbon, and the Wicked Cool stamp set.  I got the ghost from My Mind's Eye Boo to You chipboard pack.  With school starting I am really getting into fall mode!!  Have a great weekend!
