Merry Monday: A Sparkly Christmas

Merry Monday, everyone! :)  For this card I used my Top Note Die to create a unique background.  Awhile ago I posted a few videos on quilt cards.  This is similar except I didn't use small squares, I used strips of paper.  The paper I used here is from My Mind's Eye Christmas stack.  The card base is Stampin' Up! Not Quite Navy.  I cut the snowflake from Joys of the Season, sprayed it with spray adhesive, and covered it with Martha Steward snowflake glitter.  I used linen thread from Stampin' Up to wrap around the right side of the Top Note.  I am going to post a similar card on Wednesday for my Thanksgiving card.  I did a video for that one that  you can see here:  http://www.youtube.com/user/cfrwbaskets#p/u/0/uDtZr_x5xWc.  I will also embed this video in my post on Wednesday.  Oh and I cut the ovals from my oval punch and scalloped oval punch.  The snowflake and sentiment were applied using dimensionals.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great Monday!
