Whew, what a week! Sorry I did not post. The evenings are rough for me. I don't have morning sickness, I have evening sickness. Which I guess is good for work but not for crafting! :) I decided I hadn't made a quilt square card in awhile so I decided to do one for Valentine's day. I used the stamp set: Fox and Friends to stamp the owl. The designer series paper is the one that comes in the bundle that is on the right side of my blog. I also wanted to thank everyone who gave me input on the 2 baby quilts. I will let you know as soon as I decide. I hope you all have a super weekend!

Flamingo Love
Happy Friday! I just posted the video for this card on youtube last night. I really like to do Valentine's Day projects and I just love the new SU stamp set: Valentine Defined. If you watch the video you will get a good laugh because I constantly referred to the flamingos as penguins! I don't know what was wrong with me. LOL!
Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful weekend!

Baby Quilt Opinion Needed :)
Hi everyone! We are going to start decorating the nursery at the end of next month and I have picked out 2 bedding sets that I can't decide between. Of course my husband being the sweetie that he is, told me to just get both! I can't do that so I need some help deciding. I decided to go with a forest animal theme. We are not going to find out the sex of the baby so I wanted to do something neutral. Here are the two choices:
The first one is by Carters:
The second quilt is by Eddie Bauer:
Aren't they both so adorable! See why I am having trouble choosing!!!! Any opinions would be appreciated...Thanks everyone!!

Some Baby Projects!
Hi everyone! First I want to say that I am sorry for not posting as often as I have been. The picture above shows what I do best now that I am pregnant! You will notice my dogs love that I am relaxing so they can too! LOL! I did tear myself off of the couch to make a couple of baby things. I am finding that I am saving EVERYTHING like my pregnancy tests, receipts, info from the dr., etc...so I decorated this 12x12 tin box to be a Keepsakes box.
Then I made a calendar (thanks to my cousin Katie for this idea!). I can jot down when I am sick, when my appointments are, and anything else I want to remember. I am working on a Pregnancy journal that I hope to finish tomorrow if school is cancelled due to the snowstorm. Also my first ultrasound is tomorrow so I will post about how that goes. I am so excited!! Here is the calendar:
I used my Imagine for the sun and printed the title on the computer.
Thanks for stopping by today and hopefully I can post my Pregnancy Journal soon.

Got My IMAGINE! :)
Happy Saturday everyone! This is the first card that I made with the Imagine! I made a video which I will add below. My husband thought I was crazy to make a video when I can barely work it, but it was fun! LOL!
Here it is in the box! It weighed almost 38 lbs! Its HUGE!! I had to set it up right away so it still hasn't found a permanent place in my craft room, it is just sitting on my craft island waiting for a spot!! I really love it, I am just hoping the ink goes a long way. I wonder if Cartridge World is refilling these yet???!!! :)
I hope you all have a great weekend! My husband and I might venture out to start looking at baby furniture. We aren't buying anything until next month after I start my 2nd trimester but it is so fun to look especially when I thought I would never be looking for baby furniture!
Love and Hugs to you all,

Sweet Sixteen!
Hi Everyone! I made this card last week for my stepdaughter's Sweet Sixteen Party. We had a fun candy-themed party and she really loved these invites. Here is another pic:
I used Mini Monsters for the sucker ( I just love it!). I had just gotten that cartridge and I thought I wouldn't be using it until next Halloween but I was really wrong. There are some great cuts on there. :) The card base is Early Espresso and the pink paper is Blushing Bride. The patteren paper is DCWV. Ribbon is 1/2" Poly Stitched Ribbon in Blushing Bride. I used Word to write in a circle around the sucker. Here is the link where I found how to do that: http://www.scrapbook.com/tips/doc/9864/45.html I printed that on Crumb Cake card stock and then cut it out with my 2.5" scallop circle punch then layered on the rest of the sucker. I also used the oval and scalloped oval punch for the sentiment. The stamp set I used for the sentiment on the outside and for the "look who's turning..." on the inside is On Your Birthday.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! If you have any questions please feel free to leave a comment or send me an email. I am still waiting for my CRICUT IMAGINE to arrive. Shipping is slow with the holidays! :( I will be sure to let you know when it gets here. Have a great day!!!

Christmas is over but.....
.....I just have to post a couple more cards! :) I hadn't gotten around to posting these and Christmas came and went before I knew it. My Christmas break is over already and I go back to school tomorrow. I have missed my students but am enjoying resting. I have been having a little morning sickness so it has been nice to relax. Now I have a box of Saltines to take to school! LOL!
The card above does not look too Christmassy but it's the card I made for my hubby using Straight from the Nest and Making Memories January paper. (Since this post is kind of long I'm not going to post each color I have used, if you leave a comment or send me a message, I can answer any questions you have :)
For this card I used the set A Cute Christmas and SU cardstock. I also used Twill tape and the word window punch. I embossed the crumb cake using Finial Press and I colored the stockings using my blender pen and stamp pads.
For this card I used DCWV paper and Season of Joy Stamp set. I used my Cherry Cobbler marker to add some red faux stitching around the whisper white. The ribbon is old olive.
For this card I also used A Cute Christmas and Punch Pals. The snowman paper is from Bella Road and the ribbon is Pear Pizzazz. I colored in the snowman using my blender pen and stamp pads.
Whew! :) I just had so much fun making these I had to share them even though Christmas was over.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope your new year is off to a wonderful start!
Hugs,
