Merry Monday: Vintage Christmas

Merry Monday!!  Sorry that I haven't posted for a few days.  I was out of town for school and we were also gone for some of the weekend.  We have a lot of snow out there today so I am hoping for a SNOW DAY TODAY!!! :) This card is kind of my take on vintage look.  I used a color spritzer and sponging to give the paper an aged look.  I made some Christmas tags a couple of weeks ago and one that I made was similar to this and I liked it so much that I decided to make it into a full size card.  The video for this card is posted below.

  • Stamp Sets:  Peaceful Wishes and Season of Joy
  • Card stock:  Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler
  • Ink:  Early Espresso, Always Artichoke
  • Markers:   Cherry Cobbler
  • Color Spritzer Tool
  • 5/8" Grosgrain or Satin ribbon in Early Espresso
  • Oval Punch and Oval Scallop Punch

Have a wonderful snowy Monday!

  2. So pretty. This is a wonderful idea for cards to mass produce. Thanks for the tip of useing markers on stamps that you only want part of the design. I had wondered about how to do that in the past.
