Opinions Needed Please

Hello everyone! I just wanted to get some opinions on my blog candy giveaway. I cannot contact the name of the person that I drew. When I click on her name it says that her blog is not public. I have tried to contact her twice via the friend messaging thing. I also posted about this at the Cricut board to see if she would see it. I figured that if she has been following by email she would have gotten the post about her being the winner. So my question is....how long do you think I should wait before I draw another winner? I feel bad because I don't want her to miss out. I was thinking that she might be on vacation or something so I was going to wait at least a week until I draw someone else.

    Hi Wendy,
    If I remember correctly, with your candy we had to follow, leave a comment and subscribe. I was already a follower, so I just needed to comment & subscribe. I haven't recieved any emails yet, so I am not sure if it is working.
    Since she is following you though, she should be able to see your post in her blogger dashboard, if she has a blog of course.
    I think a week is a good wait time, as you said, she may be on vacation.

    Thanks for commenting Love That Bug! I will have to check the feed burner to see if it is working. I wondered about that myself. I am going to register my school email account and see if I get updates so I will know if it is working. Thanks again for the input! :)

    Hello - just so you know, I was already a follower like Love that Bug, so I just need to subscribe to the email/comment. As soon as I subscribed I started receiving emails, so there was no issue there for me.

    A week seems like a fair amount of time....it's a tough call!

    I am getting the emails so she should be also. It is possible that she could be on vacation. Maybe trhey had spring break a bit late in her area. Some of the schools here in Tennessee were just out last week. Some of the big blog sites like EverydaY Cricut say to email your address within 2 weeks.

    This is a tough call...I have been getting the emails too...most blogs I have seen give 2 weeks but they usually post that info before the drawing is done so the entrants are aware that they may lose out if they do not contact you within a certain time frame...so the solution to your problem is to just send them to me...hehehehehe
