Hi everyone! Here is the card that I made for my mom for Mother's Day. The paper that I used is Early Espresso which will be available in July (I CAN'T WAIT!) I am going to upload a video of this card sometime in the next couple of days. The sentiment that I used is from the set called "Well Scripted" and it is in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Please email me with your order and I will get it in for you. Please make sure that you send it to me by Thursday night at the latest. This is for all of you last minute people who need to order something before this catalog ends (like me! I have a ton of stuff I still want!) LOL!

My Craft Wall Organizer is Complete!

Whew! It took me all weekend but I finally finished the wall unit I have been working on. I am really happy with how it turned out. It is 4ftx3ft and it holds a ton of stuff which is great. Thanks to all of the years that my dad and I did woodworking together, I was able to complete this almost by myself. My hubby had to drill out the holes for the dowel rods and he also pulled a couple of nails that I didn't like.

I got the inspiration for this unit from an old pottery barn craft organizer that I saw online. They do not make it anymore....here is a pic of it.

Thanks for looking and I hope you like it! Have a super week!

Volunteer Gift

Hi everyone! Yesterday I was working on something to give to my classroom volunteers sinced this week was volunteer appreciation week. I came up with an apple gift bag. The bag was cut at 5 1/2 inches using the inchbag from Tags, Bags, Boxes and more. The apple was cut at 3 1/2 inches from the new preserves cartridge. The bag is big enough to fit a gift card and some candy. I am going to try to do a video of this project sometime this weekend. I have been building a craft organizer for my craft room so I have been mostly in the garage. I will post pictures of it when I am done.

Here is a pic of the gift bag:

This next pictures shows how I attached the ribbon. The ribbon is BEAUTIFUL and I LOVE it. It is Stampin' Up!'s ribbon in Real Red. It is the 1" double stitched grosgrain ribbon (#115607). The bag was too slim for me to tie this thicker ribbon into a knot for the handle. So I punched a hole in each side of the bag and thread the ribbon through then sewed it with my sewing machine. This made the handle sleek and not bulky.

Supplies:
Preserves Cartridge
Tags, Bags, Boxes Cartridge
Stampin' Up! Real Red cardstock (#102482)
Stampin' Up! Handsome Hunter cardstock (#105122)
Stampin' Up! Kraft cardstock (which will soon be called Crumbcake) (#107070)
Stampin' Up! Small dots texture plate (#114152) With the Big Shot (#113439)
Stampin' Up! 1" Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon (#115607)
The yellow paper used for the box is K&Co Wild Saffron and the green band is basic grey.

Thank you so much for looking! Have a great day!

Opinions Needed Please

Hello everyone! I just wanted to get some opinions on my blog candy giveaway. I cannot contact the name of the person that I drew. When I click on her name it says that her blog is not public. I have tried to contact her twice via the friend messaging thing. I also posted about this at the Cricut board to see if she would see it. I figured that if she has been following by email she would have gotten the post about her being the winner. So my question is....how long do you think I should wait before I draw another winner? I feel bad because I don't want her to miss out. I was thinking that she might be on vacation or something so I was going to wait at least a week until I draw someone else.

Thanks for any and all opinions......and Tricia if you get this please contact me so I can get your goodies mailed out to you. :)

Here is Tricia's post:

Make-a-Card Tuesday

Hello everyone! I decided to make a couple of cards tonight. The first one uses a really cute stamp set from the sale-a-bration flier. The second card I was excited to make because I used a flower from the sweet pea flower set. Thanks for looking!

Card for Lacy

My mom and dad's dog, Lacy is very jealous of our dogs. So I decided to send Lacy a card from Cooper (one of our many dogs) to show her that her "dad" was over here spending time with his "granddogs". Too cute! I used a random stamp that I found and my nestabilities. Paper is Stampin' Up and K&Co. I have been so far behind on posting (Like a year!) that I haven't posted about my new sewing machine. I will do that later or tomorrow. I did the stitching on the card with it. TFL!

Stampin' Up!

Well I just joined Stampin' Up! a few weeks ago and I am SO EXCITED!! (Ron...not so much! LOL!) I joined so that I would have limitless access to all of the supplies I use all of the time. I am going to start a card club in the next month or so when I decide what all I would like to do. Summer is coming up so I will have more time. Have a great day... :)
